Dallas, Jan. 26, 2007 – The law firm
of Winstead begins 2007 with new leadership, as shareholder Denis
Clive Braham assumes the post of chairman and CEO. An attorney
with Winstead since 1989, Braham worked on the Winstead team responsible
for bringing the NFL back to Houston and helping the city successfully
win the bid to host Super Bowl XXXVIII. Braham also worked
on the Winstead team that helped Jerry Jones with the new Dallas
Cowboys Stadium under construction in Arlington, and he worked
on the Winstead team that represented two New York bond insurers
in one of the biggest municipal bond transactions of 2006—the
financing of the new Yankee Stadium. Braham is a member
of the firm's Corporate and Real Estate Sections and he also chairs
Winstead's Sports Business & Public Venues Practice Group,
counting among his clients the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston
Texans.
